Hotels By-Laws Breach
Hotel By-laws breach Update
The Association Committee has now received a letter from the Hotels Solicitors concerning the By-Laws breach.
The hotel has provided the following information:
- the Hotel has hired gym equipment in order to set up a gym in its own premises for OnTrack Retreats to hold classes
- The hotel is currently establishing an alternative to the tennis court area within its premises for the OnTrack retreat to conduct outdoor classes. It is anticipated to be completed by this Thursday.
- Has arranged for OnTrack Retreat to hold classes at an off-site pool and for participants to be transported to and from the off-site pool for classes
- the Hotels lawyers are in the process of conducting a full review of the Associations Management Statement and will be taking steps to amend or remove any by-law, including 9.1 which seeks to restrict the normal day to day operations of its business, should this become necessary.
We will reply to the Hotel to acknowledge receipt of their letter and hope that there are no further problems. Thank you for residents for your contributions and patience during this time.
We kindly ask that given the sensitive nature of this legal matter that we are mindful of any discussion on our Facebook Kooindah Waters Resources page. Residents can email us at info@kooindahwaters.com or use the Contact Us form on our website www.kooindahwaters.com
